The Asian Night Market Festival is an annual event in OKC's Asian District that draws in 25,000+ people for two nights of diverse Asian cultural performances, food, and fun! It takes a village of dedicated people to make the festival a success.

The committees you can apply for are listed below with descriptions. Committees will meet once a month to update on goals starting in March until the festival on October 3-4th.

Committee Breakdown and Expectations:

Logistics & Volunteer Committee: Handles permitting, contracts, licensing deadlines, event mapping, creates a day-of plan and execute it. Plans and executes volunteer needs for pre & post festival as well as during. Handle Command Center.

Vendor Committee: Come up with a list of restaurants/food trucks, local retail shops and artists to connect and reach out to for the event. Will have monthly goals to get restaurants/retail to apply and confirm commitments to the festival. Manage vendor relationships before, during, and after the event.

Programming Committee:  Reach out to different performing organizations and groups, create event schedule of performances for the evenings, find emcees, etc. Plan food eating contest. Write scripts for emcees and rehearse. Will meet monthly to update on confirmed performers and program updates.

Event Engagement Committee: Plans and executes different "activation" areas around the festival to be more immersive and engaging.

Children's Committee: In-charge of planning the Children's area.  Come up with crafts, games, etc.
